Today my host family and I were hanging out in my host brothers room. Kinda funny (: somehow planking came up so I showed them pictures of ppl planking. They thought it was hilarious! I’ve been showing them a bunch of stuff that I like (: Thank God I didn’t get a host family that I wouldn’t get along with, it would had made it harder being away from my real family. I’ve been having such a great time. Today my host sister and I talked about boys, and then my host mother joined in :D Then my host father (who’s super hilarious) came home and we talked about different stuff. Most of the time they have to stop and explain vocabulary I don’t know or they want to know how to say it in English. It’s a lot of fun even though half the time I’m lost :D We also went to my host grandmother’s house next door and she gets a kick out of my poor japanese. But she likes having me around, she says she likes learning from me (: My Japanese is getting better though. I miss my family a lot, especially my mom ): I’m always thinking about her and hoping I can talk to her soon. It’s been 5 days since I don’t talk to her ): even thought I’m happy here and having fun I reallyyyyyyy want to talk to her and see her ): Well it’s late and I have class tomorrow. Oyasumiii!!

All those chapters of grammar, voc, etc that I learned my FIRST year of Japanese… Yeah well I forgot a lot of that stuff so I’m on an intense review mode. There are less than 2 weeks left!
